Endoscopy Medical Systems has a flexible endoscope service department with extensive experience and capability to repair mayor brands as well as PENTAX Medical flexible endoscopes used in both endoscopy and surgery.
Once we receive an endoscope for repair it is entered into our database. A Work Order number is generated by our system and a repair report is created which follows the scope through the entire repair cycle. The scope is then evaluated and inspected in our 31-point check-in procedure. An estimate is generated and then communicated to our customer.
Once we receive our customers’ approval, we proceed to complete the repair and the scope is subjected to a final inspection. The scope is then delivered or shipped to the customer according to their instructions. All customers can check the status of their repairs at any time by accessing our online customer service portal.

PENTAX Medical Repairs
Endoscopy Medical Systems is the exclusive authorized PENTAX Medical distributor and Service Center in Puerto Rico. We have demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to provide quality service and support for all PENTAX Medical products. All of our Technicians have completed extensive PENTAX Medical training and are required to re-certify their skills at PENTAX Medical on an annual basis. Loaners Equipment
Endoscope Loaners are subject to availability for our customers at no charge. In order to qualify, we require that our customer’s damaged equipment is submitted to Endoscopy Medical Systems for repair and that a written loaner agreement is signed. Our customer is responsible for the conditions of the loaned equipment upon return.
Preventative Maintenance
In addition to ongoing maintenance and repairs of your equipment when problems arise, we want to ensure that your equipment is always functioning in its most optimal state. For this reason, we provide preventative maintenance checks in order to assure proper functionality and reduce the cost of emergency repairs or down time.
STERRIS (Medivators) Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER) Repair Service
Endoscopy Medical Systems is the exclusive authorized distributor and Service Center in Puerto Rico for STERRIS AER equipment. We perform a comprehensive performance test on this type of equipment in order to determine and recommend repairs. In-house Repair Services
Mayor repairs can be managed at our facilities. We manage this mostly with the CER-2 Optima equipment. Our experienced Field Service Engineers will schedule a pickup at your facility and carefully transports your equipment to and from our Service Center. Our repairs include:
- 90-day warranty on all services performed and parts replaced at our repair center.
- A quality control process that meets current and updated manufacturer specifications.
- Service documentation and test reports for compliance and record-keeping.

Our Field Service staff is also trained to perform certain maintenance and minor repairs at your facility.
